I am quitting DA. No this isn't one of those "give me attention or I'm leaving 4-eva" posts :D I will certainly be back sooner or later, but for now I think the time I have been spending on this site will be better spent elsewhere. (To be honest everyone who devwatches me probably noticed that I've barely logged on in the last few weeks anyway)

Obligatory pokemon update: I beat HeartGold and am working on the battle frontier. The new move tutor options are TOTALLY SWEET. I imagine they'll shake the metagame up more than Platinum's Heat Wave Zapdos and Bullet Punch Scizor did. Anyone want Heal Bell on their eevee? :D
Also also re HeartGold, shiny pokemon DO have their different forms in the follower sprites too. How awesome is that? I'm being followed by an emerald green beedrill with blue eyes right now :3

Current team is croconaw, heracross, doduo (caught in the pokéwalker!), furret and skiploom. I'm not sure if I'm gonna try to SR a good Raikou/Suicune this go or just blitz through the game and catch scrubs. I can always SR proper ones in the US version when that comes out. Wandering legends are pigs to SR anyway; I did shiny Mesprit once and am not overly excited about doing it again.

Just coming here to say I loved your work. I read it in middle school(I am now 27 and four years post bachelors) and I still think about this story. It’s one of the best I have wrote. You are such an amazing writer and creative person overall. If you have any other work or are in any other websites, please let us know!

Please finish your story. It may not be possible to join every Zelda game inside a single story, but ELOZE was never about that to me. ELOZE is a story about Dark Link, not about Zelda lore. Leaving that story unfinished seems like such a waste. I don't think any of your readers care if you played the new Zelda games or if you are out of touch with them. Your story isn't about that. It's only based on some of that. It felt like it was starting to get to the part I enjoy most about a story: when everything comes to a head for the characters and they have to make a choice that shows how much they've grown and changed over the course of the story.
But it never got there. That's a real shame. So, if you see this, please consider continuing the story.

I found this after ages of searching. Seems she doesn't want to continue unfortunately, thought I'd put it here along with a link to the original comment so fans can discover the harsh reality a little easier.

That might have been possible in 1998. Ambitious, but possible. But as Nintendo continued to develop the franchise, that goal slipped further and further out of reach. With the addition of Wind Waker to the canon in 2003, it became impossible. Oh, we tried. We added a whole new "book" to include a journey over water and Hyrule's first encounter with the Rito. Minish Cap came out; we added a child version of Vaati.
Twilight Princess, Spirit Tracks, Skyward Sword. People grow up, people get old. I'm out of touch and I know it. I haven't played any of the new games--I can't afford them these days. It was wonderful to write for you all for so long, but the fandom has moved on, and it's time for ELOZE to rest.

Oh, thank god there are other people here that know about Eloze. For a while I thought I was the only one.

IF she doesn't come back, it'll be a right shame; you never see this much detail to fanfiction these days. Last I heard, she was suffering some major writer's block issues with Shadow's Mastered. And that was years ago.
I wish she'd at least come out and say whether or not she'll just quit the project instead of leaving us in the dark about all of it.

That's actually really neat, what do you think will happen? it has been a long time hopefully she will finish one day , it's the best fanficion I've ever read
